My name is Elangely “Nani” Hidalgo. I was born in Harlem and raised in Washington Heights, surrounded by vibrant culture, bold beauty, and even bigger dreams. From an early age, I craved originality—in my name, my style, and my spirit. My Dominican mother would always remind me, “Tú no eres del paquete”—you’re not part of the crowd. And she was right!

At 15, I began designing my own clothes and partnered with a local boutique owner, Benny, who still helps source fabrics for me today. What started as custom birthday and prom dresses soon grew into something bigger—a brand.

Now, Nani’s House of Beauty is more than just fashion. It’s a lifestyle. A movement. A love letter to self-expression and elegance.
